Our policy has been developed to meet the needs of our clients in ensuring all environmental legislation is conformed to. RBD Contracting Services is committed to ensuring all work practices are carried out with minimum risk to the environment.
To achieve this, RBD Contracting will:
- Comply with, and strive to exceed, any requirements under local, state and national environmental legislation;
- Organise site/places of work so that work is carried out to the required standards with minimim risk to vegetation and the environment;
- Know the requirements of all relevant Environmental Site Procedures at all sites where work is performed;
- Include environmental risks as part of the Job Safety Analysis for all work undertaken;
- Report any environmental incidents to the appropriate person;
- Maintain a clean and tidy work site;
- Endeavour to reduce consumption of materials and where possible, use environmentally sustainable materials;
- Dispose of all rubbish and redundant material/equipment in an environmentally responsible and safe manner;
- Communicate and promote our environmental policy and responsibilities to all RBD Contracting employees; and
- Continue to improve all aspects of our environmental policy to meet the future needs of our clients and our social responsibilities.
